Hi there Gerry and family,
Georgia had a bit of acupuncture, the vet uses it as a diagnostic tool as well as a therapy. She wasn't too relaxed, but wasn't overly bothered by it either.
It was definitely nice to go into a vet clinic that didn't have those prescription grainy diets lining the walls. And of course it was a good experience to have a very gentle vet who got to know Georgia and was slow and gentle, not doing anything that she didn't like. She wasn't even on an examining table, she could wander around and rest on a soft bench or cat bed while being treated.
So hopefully what we're trying will help her, the vet says this condition can be tricky but there are other things to try. We'll be sure to update on her progress.
