We Sing You To The Bridge Tigger, With Rumbly Purrs & Love
It is with great sadness that we have learned that Tigger, the wonderful senior king cat of Tigger And The Teach, left for The Bridge on August 14th 2013.
Tigger was 24 years old and the wisest cat we ever had the honour of calling a friend.
He lived his long, happy life with his Mom Angie and ruled his kingdom with a paw of iron and a mighty purr of love.

Tigger was a wily and clever lad. One morning our ape spluttered her coffee all over the pc screen as she read how Tigger had secretly stashed his pills for his thyroid condition behind a curtain. This had been going on for a while. His Mom had been certain he'd been taking the pills. Tigger was a class act. |

Tigger enjoyed life inside and outside, he was king of all he surveyed. As a ruler he was benevolent and endured the introduction to his realm of Georgie, a stray who his Mom compassionately gave refuge to. Tigger voiced his disdain for this new addition, but with typical grace accepted this new acolyte. |

Tigger could not have found a better friend when he wandered into his Mom's life. He left this life in her arms, surrounded and bathed in the love that was the life of them both. |
Tigger, we will miss you so much. We loved to see how perfectly you ruled your domain, we loved your stern wisdom too. We know that you will be having a good time at The Bridge, but please keep an eye on your Mom and Georgie.
Friends, please drop by to leave Angie and Georgie some kind words of love, to lose such a wonderful friend is so hard.
Tigger we will never forget you.

So sorry to hear about your friend Tigger. He did live to be a nice old age for a kitty - hopefully he went peacefully. Our sympathy to his mom, who I'm sure misses him greatly.
What a wonderful tribute to the very special Mancat Tigger. We loved all that you said about him...he is such a special guy. We are very sad about his passing and will certainly miss him. We send all our purrs and prayers to his Mom.

Tigger sounds like quite the character. We wish we'd known him better. We tried to leave a comment on his blog yesterday but Jan's eyes can't get past the word verification.
What an awesome cat and span of life he had, deserved too, and not wasted I bet on trivialities common to us humans in our lives.
RIP Tigger. He led a long and happy life.
What a beautiful tribute to a larger than life kitty. Fly free, sweet Tigger. You will be loved and missed forever.
